Dwellings at Bridgeport

The building sits on a very small site with restrictive setbacks because of its proximity to neighboring low-density residential district. The (5) story building is home to (10) ten condominium residential dwelling units. Because of the site restrictions, the form of the building is a product of its function and the site zoning requirements, which left very little room for further exploration of the form. In order to shade the units from the direct southern sun, the façade of the building utilizes a tessellated louver panel system that allows for natural ventilation and allows the building users to control the sunlight entering the spaces.
